OrangeTeam Lug

OrangeTeam was born in Pisa in 2014 from a group of friends, who share the common passion for LEGO®. The OrangeTeam immediately obtained the recognition as OrangeTeam LEGO® USER GROUP (LUG). Today, in 2016, we reached more than 50 members from many parts of Tuscany and Italy. Energy, passion,friendship and a lot of creativity are the main qualities of our whole group , qualities that always push us to made something special, original and unique in our creations. Ours Members have also some other passions like, photography, RC modeling, robotics, comics, sci-fi and more other; these passions are cultivated also trough the LEGO® brick and for this, our events are characterized by the creation of works in LEGO® so different among them. Furthermore we are very careful to the interaction with our public and its families; so we organize interactive laboratories like: pick n’ build, drive Rc LEGO® TECHNIC crawlers and talk about botany, robotics and photography trough LEGO®; so we had some collaborations with the Engineering School of Angers(France), the University of Pisa, the Sant'Anna School, Doctor, Artist, Photographer..... Each Year we organize, manage and take part to about 10 different events; our principal event, called PisaBrickArt, had an average of 10.000 visitors of different ages, over 70 exhibitors and collectors from many parts of Italy and also from abroad, who partecipate to our contest for adults and kids, and we show many exclusive MOC and DIORAMA made by us;The NEW event, PisaBrickArt2016 "Revolution" will take place at the Congress Palace of Pisa. We have also created themed events at the university of Pisa. In the first lesson, we spoke about "how create a personal MOC", "LEGO Language and glossary", the LEGO History etc. We are planning the next event, where we will spoke about "how to photograph properly LEGO Creations", "how organize a LEGO Diorama" etc. Our aim is grow the capacity of our AFOL community and to find other friends to share our interests. The approximate size of this LUG is 50 members. The ambassador's name is Luigi Bondi.
